TENDER FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF OILY WATER
SEPARATOR KIPEVU I POWER STATION
 
The Kenya Electricity Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as KenGen)) invites sealed applications from eligible candidates to tender for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Oily water Separator Kipevu I Power Station.

Where the tender document may be collected upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kshs. 3, 000. 00 paid in cash of through a bankers cheque at any KenGen finance office, the documents can also be viewed and downloaded form the website www.kengen.co.ke and the payment evidence MUST be submitted with the tender documents. Bidders who downloaded the tender document form the website must forward their particulars immediately for records and any further clarifications and addenda and will be required to pay a reduced fee of Kshs. 2, 000. 00
 
Tenderers who purchased the previous tender document will not be required to purchase this document but should attach a copy of the past receipt in the tender document.
 
Tenderers MUST be accompanied by a security in the form and amount specified in the tender documents, and must be submitted in a plain sealed envelope and marked “Tender for supply, installation and commissioning of oily water separator Kipevu I Power Station (KGN-KIP-83-2012)

Mandatory Site visit is only applicable to new bidders who did not participate in the previous tender site visit. Mandatory Site Visit will be held on the 20th September 2012 at 10. 00 am. Bidders are strongly advised to attend or send their nominated representatives.
 
Tenders will be opened on 1st October 2012 at 10. 30 am in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the executive Room, 7th floor, Stima Plaza Phase III.
