Naivasha Water Sewerage and Sanitation Company Limited has received funds from the Water Services Trust Fund (WSL) Under Urban Project Concept (UPC) and intends to use these funds to execute the two tenders mentioned hereunder. The company hereby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the works.

Requirements
1. Must be a registered contractor (Class E and above) under the Ministry of Water and Irrigation.
2. Bid security of 2% of the tender sum inform of a bankers cheque.
3. Proof of work of similar magnitude undertaken in the last 5 years
4. Provide certified Audited accounts for the last 3 years
5. Certified copies of Tax Compliance certificate, VAT and PIN certificates
6. Availability of appropriate and relevant skills among staff that would be directly involved in the supervision of the works
7. Proof of Legal existence (Copies of Certificates of Incorporation / Registration )
8. Provide details of Litigation History related to Government contracts
Tender documents with detailed specifications can be obtained upon payment of the above charges from the Naivasha Water Sewerage And sanitation company Cash offices during normal working hours 8. 00 am to 5. 00 pm. A mandatory site visit by the tenderers or their representatives will be on Fridays 24th August 2012 and 7th September 2012 at 2pm.

The sealed tender document should be sent through the above address or lodged in the Tender Box marked “UPC PROJECTS” at the Company offices located at Biashara Plaza on or before 11th September 2012 not later than 12. 00 noon. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Managing Directors Office in the presence for the interested tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
