REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF LINE I REPLACEMENT PROJECT – SU/QT/3356F/16
Kenya Pipeline Company Limited (KPC) invites local and international firms to send bids for Request for Proposal for Project Management of Line I Replacement Project.
Interested firms must ensure that they comply with the following requirements; (These mandatory documents must be placed in a separate folder marked “Mandatory Documents” and placed in the Envelope marked Technical Submission)
Provide a Certificate of Incorporation or Registration for all partners in the joint venture.
Provide a Valid KRA Tax Compliance Certificate, (local bidders including those in the JV) or Certificate of Compliance issued under Part X of the Companies Act [for foreign companies currently doing business in Kenya].
International firms incorporated outside the Republic of Kenya must partner with local firms in a joint venture arrangement for these services. The local company must hold at least 40% shareholding in the JV. A copy of a joint venture agreement must be attached and indicate the shareholding.
Provide a signed declaration form stating that the firm or members of the consortium are not limited or disqualified under any of the provisions of The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and that the firm or members of the consortium have not been involved in activities that contravene anti-corruption laws and policies.
Tender validity of 120 days

The RFP document can also be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kpc.co.ke or http://supplier.treasury.go.ke at no cost. Interested applicants will be required to email their detailed contact information to opentender@kpc.co.ke for recording, further clarifications and addenda. We shall also post any addenda on the website as it becomes available.
No other email addresses should be used and KPC shall not be liable if applicants choose to send their information and/or queries to other email addresses.
Note: KPC reserves the right to verify accuracy of all information provided.
Request for Proposal documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF LINE I REPLACEMENT PROJECT – SU/QT/3356F/16” and be deposited in the tender box provided at KPC so as to be received not later than 10.00 am on 26th April 2016

Bids submitted later than closing date and time shall automatically be disqualified (Costs for the preparation of proposal documents will not be reimbursed by KPC.)
Tender opening shall take place immediately thereafter at Head Office Boardroom in the presence of bidders/or their representatives who may wish to attend.
Kenya Pipeline Company Limited is not bound to accept and can reject any RFP either in whole or in part.
