Interested eligible bidders who are registered in the Ministry of Public Works in the indicated categories and above may obtain further information and inspect tender documents from the Principals office, Chepkoilel University College, A long Item Ziwa road 9km from Eldoret town, during normal working hours.
A complete set for tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders upon payment of nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 2, 000. 00 in cash or bankers cheque payable to The Principal Chepkoilel University College. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a banker’s cheque form reputable bank or approved insurance company and must be delivered with Tender documents.
Interest bidders should note that those who meet the criteria indicated below as a minimum supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.
1. Proof of works of similar magnitude and complexity under taken in the last five years.
2. The bid bond must be in form of bank guarantee from a reputable bank or approved insurance company.
3. Sound financial standing and adequate access to bank credit line
4. Litigation history of the company (both court and arbitration cases).
5. Confidential business questionnaire
6. A valid Tax compliance certificate
7. Registration documentation
Further tenders form the following tenderers shall be treated as NON – RESPONSIVE and therefore subject to automatic disqualification.
a) A tender form a tender whose ongoing projects is/are behind schedule and without any approved extension of time.
b) A tender from a tender who has been serviced with a default notice on ongoing projects or terminated in a government contract.
c) A tender form a tenderer with ongoing projects exceeding four (4) in number, regardless of the total value of the outstanding works.
d) A tender form a tender whose tender sum is plus or minus 10% of the official estimate
e) A tender form a tender with on-going Government projects exceeding four (4) in number regardless of the total value of outstanding works.
A pretender site visit will be conduct on 18th October 2012 at 9. 00 am on the site. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes. Must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 9120) days for the closing date of tender.
Completed Tender documents accompanied with official receipt for the fee paid in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Tender No and Tender Description as more particularly described in the Tender Document, should be addressed and delivered to:
