Today marks the end of the three-day Engineer’s International Conference that took place in Kisumu. The conference themed,”Innovative Engineering Solutions for Industrialization” was officially opened by the County Secretary on behalf of the Governor attracting different players in the industry. The IEK chairman, Eng.Riungu in his closing remarks thanked the organizers of the event as well as all those who took part in the annual conference, the 20th the institution has held. As it is a norm, the event culminates with a “Dinner Dance” where the engineers are challenged on another field other than what they know best, dancing! This year’s dinner dance will take place at the Imperial Hotel in Kisumu. The engineers will then proceed to a field trip at Kiboswa Sugar Factory. Kenya Engineer will run a series on papers presented during the conference as from next week, keep it here for more.
