ADDENDUM NO. 2:

CLARIFICATION & EXTENSION OF TENDER CLOSING DATES

The Rural Electrification Authority wishes to make changes to the closing date for the tender whose details appear below which appeared in the Local Dailies on 10th September 2015. Further reference is made to an advertisement on 2nd October, 2015 in which an extension to the tender closing date was published. Bidders are informed that further clarifications have been sought which have necessitated a second extension of the tender closing date as follows:

Previous Closing Date: 4th November, 2015 @10.00Am

New Closing Date: 11th November, 2015 @10.00Am

Bidders are advised that:

All the specifications have been uploaded on the Rural Electrification Authority Website (www.rea.co.ke).

Any request for clarification which had been received, have been responded to and posted on Rural Electrification Authority Website (www.rea.co.ke).

The Employer shall respond to any request for clarification and post the same on the REA website, provided that such request is received no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the deadline for submission of bids.

All other terms and conditions of the tender remain the same.
