Tender documents detailing the requirements of the above tenders may be obtained from the office of Chief Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics, Kenya Power on the 3rd Floor, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi, on normal working days beginning from the commencement date shown above between 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Three Thousand Shillings Only (KShs.3,000/=) for items A & B and for item C upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand Five hundred Shillings Only (KShs.1,500/=) or the equivalent amount in United States Dollars (USD) using the selling exchange rate ruling at the date of the tender document purchase provided by the Central Bank of Kenya (See Central Bank of Kenya website-www.centralbank.go.ke). Payment shall be made in Cash or by Banker’s Cheque at the 1″ Floor, Costing Office, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi, Kenya.

Prospective bidders may also download the tender document from Kenya Power’s website (www.kplc.co.ke). At the time of submitting the completed tender document, such tenderers shall be required to enclose a copy of the receipt or payment slip evidencing payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand Shillings Only (KShs 2,000/=) for item A & B and a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand Shillings only (KShs.l,000/=) for item C or the equivalent amount in United States Dollars (USD) using the selling exchange rate mentioned above.

Upon downloading and payment of the fee of KShs.2,000/= for items A & B, and KShs. 1,000/= for item C or the equivalent amount in United states Dollars (USD), bidders are required to immediately send/e-mail their names and contact details to:

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS: Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Regional Hybrid IP-PBX

Participating bidders are advised to collect the addenda for the tenders with clarifications from the office of the Chief Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics on the 3rd Floor, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi, on normal working days from Tuesday 9th July, 2013 between 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. (excluding any public or gazetted holiday) or may also download the addenda from Kenya Power’s website (www.kplc.co.ke).

The tender closing date remains the same i.e. 17th July, 2013 at 10.00 a.m.

Tenders will be opened promptly after closing and Bidders or their representatives are welcome to witness the opening in the Stima Plaza Auditorium.

Save when responding to Kenya Power’s request for clarification, bidders shall not contact or discuss any aspect of their tenders with Kenya Power after tender closing date before receipt of notification of award of tenders or letters of regret, as applicable. Any such contact shall lead to disqualification of the tenderer.
