9ASR Ventures BV (EA) Ltd has acquired Infinity Industrial Park, a 200-acre industrial and business development in Ruai, Nairobi County, with plans to complete the project over the coming months.

Announced on 23 October 2026, the acquisition places the development on the Eastern Bypass, within reach of Nairobi’s city centre, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the inland container terminal and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) railway terminal. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The Netherlands-based 9ASR Ventures group, through its East African subsidiary, plans to develop the park into a serviced industrial and business location for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large companies and multinational firms.

According to the company, the park is designed to accommodate more than 1,000 businesses in an environment that combines industrial space with shared facilities, utility services and transport connections. The development is intended to provide a plug-and-play model in which businesses can access essential infrastructure without having to establish every service independently.

Utilities and shared infrastructure

The development is planned to incorporate reliable electricity and water supplies, fibre optic connectivity, security facilities, a fire service and a hospital. A shopping mall and additional transport facilities and services are also planned.

These facilities are intended to support industrial and commercial operations while providing services for employees working within the park. For manufacturers and logistics operators, the combination of utilities and access to major transport infrastructure could help reduce some of the logistical and operational constraints associated with establishing business premises.

The company also describes the park as an eco-friendly development with a green setting. However, the acquisition announcement does not provide details of its environmental design specifications, energy-efficiency measures, water management systems or other sustainability provisions.

The extent to which these features will be incorporated into the completed development remains to be established as further project details become available.

Location and industrial connectivity

Ruai’s position along the Eastern Bypass provides the development with road connections towards Nairobi and the wider transport network. Its proximity to JKIA, the inland container terminal and the SGR railway terminal is also a central part of the project’s proposition for businesses involved in manufacturing, freight handling, distribution and exports.

The company estimates that the park is approximately a 20–30-minute drive from JKIA. Actual journey times will depend on traffic conditions and the route taken.

By bringing industrial premises, utility services and shared amenities into one development, the project is intended to offer businesses an alternative to establishing operations across separate sites. The potential benefits will depend on the availability, capacity, reliability and cost of the services provided.

Completion plans and outstanding details

9ASR Ventures says it intends to complete the project over the coming months. A detailed completion schedule, leasing arrangements and information on plot availability are expected to be announced later.

The acquisition announcement does not specify the remaining construction works, the project’s total investment value, the number of jobs expected to be created or the arrangements for providing and maintaining its utility infrastructure.

These details will be important in assessing the development’s scale, implementation programme and potential contribution to Nairobi’s industrial and logistics capacity.

Commenting on the acquisition, Adam Ratani, Director of 9ASR Ventures BV (EA) Ltd, said the investment represented a long-term commitment to Kenya and to completing a park intended to create business opportunities and employment.

“Infinity Industrial Park is a key investment, not just for 9ASR Ventures but for Nairobi itself,” Ratani said.

The company says it intends to build long-term partnerships in Kenya as it works towards completing the development.
