TENDER NOTICE
TENDER NO: KeNHA/1255/2016 – CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF GARSEN – WITU – LAMU (C112) ROAD
The Authority is planning to embark on the Construction of Garsen – Witu – Lamu (CI 12) Road within Tana River and Lamu Counties, Coast region. The road project is approximately 135Km and will include upgrading to bitumen standards of the earth/gravel section and reconstruction of the paved section of the road. The construction works shall be undertaken through a Design and Build Contract (FIDIC EPCAurnkey based).
The Authority invites sealed bids from eligible Consultancy Engineering firms registered under Category ‘B’ with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to submit technical and financial proposals for the above tender. The consultancy services shall be funded by the Government of Kenya (GoK).
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Kenya shillings (Kshs. 1,000) in form of banker’s cheque payable to Kenya National Highways Authority. Alternatively, tender documents may be obtained free of charge by downloading the RFP from KeNHA website: www.kenha.co.ke or IFMIS supplier portal: www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Bidders who download the tender documents are requested to forward their particulars (i.e. name and contacts) to procurement@kenha.co.ke for purpose of registration and sending any clarification or/and addendum.
Interested Consultants may obtain further information and Request for Proposal documents from the Procurement Section, Ground Floor during office hours (weekdays from 0800hr to 1700hr EAT, excluding public holidays).
The proposal shall be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope marked with the tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box situated at KeNHA Headquarters Mezzanine Floor, Blue Shield Towers or be addressed as indicated below so as to be received on or before Friday, 20th May, 2016 at 1100hrs East African and addressed to:-
