NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING

The Nairobi City County is a County Government established by the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

The mandate of the County Government as set out in the Fourth Schedule of the Constitution include Construction, Rehabilitation, Maintenance and Management of Public Transport Facilities, County Roads, Street and Public lighting, storm water management in built up areas among others.

The Nairobi City County Government invites bids from eligible contractors, for road construction. The projects are to be funded from the Nairobi City County’s Fuel Levy Fund:-

Construction of Riara Lane and Uthuru Lane in Kilimani Ward about 700 metres long to tarmac standards.

Construction of missing link road between Access road along Five star estate , through Memon estate and Muhoho Extension Road which is about 800metres long to tarmac standards.

The bid documents have been uploaded on IFMIS Suppliers Portal and the Nairobi City County website: www.nairobi.go.ke.

Bidders are requested to note the following key dates: –

Mandatory site visits will be held on April 01, 2016

Bids will close on 10am on April 12, 2016 as detailed in the website.
