TENDER NOTICE
Supply and delivery of 150 cold water metres and fittings

Yatta Water Services Company Ltd has received funds from the Water Services Trust Fund (WSTF) under the Urban Project Concept (UPC 6th call) and intends to use part of the funds to undertake the project below. The Company hereby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works.

Scope of Works: Construction of 3 No. closed Kiosks, 150m3 masonry tank and 7.448km pipeline extension, Matuu – sofia Water Supply Project.

Scope of Works: Matuu Market Public Toilet Block

Scope of Works: Kithimani public toilet block

Requirements

1. Bid security of 2% of the tender sum from a reputable bank inform of a banker’s cheque or a bank guarantee.

2   Must be registered contractor NCA Class 7 and above

3.Proof of work of a similar magnitude undertaken in the last 5 years supported by completion certificate

4.Provide certified Audited Accounts for the last three years

5.Certified copies of Tax Compliance Certificate, VAT and PIN certificates

6.Proof of availability of appropriate equipment and relevant skills mix among your staff.

7.Proof of legal existence {Copies of Certificates of incorporation and Physical Address)

8.  Provide details of Litigation history related to Government Contracts

9.Attend MANDATORY Pre-tender site meeting/visit on 10/12/2013; Bidders assemble at the company offices at 10.00am. Bidders should arrange for their own transport.

Tender documents with detailed specifications can be obtained upon payment either in banker’s cheque or cash of a non refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000.0 from Yatta Water services Company ltd offices during normal working hours.

Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelope bearing no indication of tenderer but clearly marked with the tender number should be deposited in the Tender Box marked “UPC PROJECTS” located 2krns from Matuu Town along Matuu-Katangi road or addressed to;

So as to be received on or before 12.00 noon on 17th December 2013.

Tenders will be opened thereafter at the Company’s Boardroom in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. The Company reserves the right to accept/reject any tender in part or whole and is not bound to give reasons for its decision.
