REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES

The Mandera County Government has received funding from the Government of the Republic of Kenya-Equitable Share of Revenue shared between Counties towards the cost of various projects and intends to apply part of the proceed of the fund to payments under contracts for Engineering Consultancy Services.

The services include:

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Studies, Feasibility Studies, Hydrological Surveys and Detailed Engineering Designs of the following projects:

CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AT THE COUNTY HEADQUARTERS (MANDERA TOWN) INTO BITUMEN STANDARD IN ORDER TO BOOST OUR URBANIZATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS.

CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AT THE COUNTY HEADQUARTER – DESIGN WORKS.

CONSTRUCTION OF JUICE PROCESSING FACTORY

CONSTRUCTION OF WORLD CLASS ABATTOIR IN MANDERA TOWN

REHABILITATION OF ROADS AND DRAINAGE SYSTEMS IN ELWAK TOWN

CARRYOUT A COMPREHENSIVE HYDRO-GEOLOGICAL SURVEYS THROUGH OUT THE COUNTY WITH VIEW TO: –
a)   DRILLING AND EQUIPPING OF BOREHOLES TO MEET DOMESTIC & LIVESTOCK NEEDS OF TARGET RESIDENTS,

b)   DEVELOP STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS TO IMPROVE SANITATION IN MAJOR TOWNS

c)   DEVELOP WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE WATER AND SEWERAGE SERVICES IN MAJOR TOWNS

The Mandera County Government now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria, establishment of shortlist and selection criteria shall be in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005 and Regulations of 2006 -procurement of consultants under expression of interest. Mandera County Government is under no obligation to shortlist any consultant.
