1. The Government of Kenya has applied for utilization of available balance from existing recently completed loans to the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Design, Supply and Installation of an interim passenger Terminal building and associated services at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport, JKIA. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Design, Supply and Installation of en interim passenger Terminal building and associated services at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport.
2. The Kenya Airports Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Design, Supply and Installation of an interim passenger Terminal building and associated services at JKIA whose scope include but not limited to:
· Design, supply and Construction of the terminal building for departing/arriving for international/domestic operation
· Installation of departing and arriving Baggage Handling System
· Installation of airport special systems Inter-phasing of utilities to existing supply
· Testing and commissioning of the terminal building
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee ofKsh One Thousand (KSh. 1,000)
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Plant Design, Supply, and Installation.
6. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00am on 25 October 2013 and must be accompanied by a security of USD Five Hundred Thousand (USD 500,000)
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10: 15 am on 25th October 2013 at the offices of:
