WORKS FOR WATER SUPPLY SCHEME FOR KAPCHEROP INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

The Lake Victoria North Water Services Board (LVNWSB) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation Service Improvement Project Additional Financing (WaSSIP AF), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The individual consulting services (“the Services”) include carrying out Feasibility Study, Preliminary and Detailed Design, Tender Documentation, assisting LVNWSB in selection of Contractor and Supervision of Construction Works for the proposed works. The duration of the assignment is 27 months.

The LVNWSB now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individual Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

i.       Minimum Bsc Civil Engineering with ten (10) or more years experience

ii.      Registered Consulting engineer with Engineers Registration Board of Kenya

iii.     Experience in similar assignments

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants} by Worid Bank Borrowers (January 2011) (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the Worid Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultants Selection (ICS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
