TENDER NOTICE
Mwala Water and Sanitation Company has received funds from water services Trust Fund under the Urban Project Concept (UPC-5) and intends to use part of the funds to undertake the following Projects.  The company herby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works at Mwala Water supply.

a)      1no. Ground level masonry tank 150m3
b)      2No. Insitu, Water Kiosks with over head tanks
c)      Supply, delivery, laying and back filling HDPE pipe of various diameters of approx 3.9 km long.

Requirements
1.       Registered contractor (class E and above)  under the Ministry  of Water and Irrigation
2.       Bid security of 2% of the tender sum  inform of Bankers cheque form a reputable bank
3.       Proof of current Tax compliance certificate, VAT and PIN certificates
4.       Proof of legal existence (copies of certificates of incorporation/Registration)
5.       Provide certified Audited accounts for the last 3 years
6.       Provide details of litigation history for the last 3 year
7.       Provide details of current work load
8.       Attend details of current work load
9.       Attend a mandatory pre-tender site meeting on 12th September 2012 AT 11. 00 am at          the company’s Makutano office.  Interested bidders to arrange own transport.
 
Tender documents with full description of works may be obtained from the Company cash office, Makutano upon payment of the above charges at the company’s cash office during normal working hours.  Completed tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly indicating the Tender Number But bearing no indication of the tenderer shall be addressed to:

Or placed in the tender box at the company offices (Makutano) so as to reach the above address not later than 24th September 2012 @ 9.30 am.  Tender will be opened immediately thereafter in the company’s boardroom in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend.
 
The company reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in part or wholly without giving any reasons for its decision.
