Kenya will from 29-30th October be hosting an energy and oil summit. The conference two day conference, East Africa Oil and Gas Summit 2013, is the second to take place after the first one that was co-hosted by the Ministry of Energy, Kenya and Global Event Partners Ltd.

The event will build on the success of the 2012 summit that welcomed 326 delegates from over 170 regional and international companies attended with delegates coming from 29 countries according to the event organisers.

With ongoing gas and oil discoveries in the east and central region of Africa, the call for such events is thoughtful and timely.

Kenya will barely a month before the conference be hosting a one day event to mark the Energy Day set on 9th September this year.

Among the sponsors of the EAOGS are; Afren, Africa Oil among other players in the related sector. It will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi.
