TENDERS FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE/REHABILITATION IN NYAMIRA COUNTY
The Department of Transport, Roads and Public Works is mandated with Management, Development and Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Roads, Public Facilities and Infrastructure within the County.
The Department hereby invites INTERESTED BIDDERS for Maintenance/Rehabilitation of the following 20 (No.) Roads spread across the county to be funded through the County Government. Details of the Roads are available from the offices of the Supply Chain Management offices, Nyamira.

Culverts and Drainage Works
Grading and Gravelling
QUALIFICATION FOR BIDDERS
a) Certified Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
b) Certified Copy of Certificate of Registration with Ministry of Roads Category D and below or its Equivalent from National Construction Authority.
c) VAT Registration/Pin Registration Certificate
d) Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
Bid documents are available from the Nyamira County Government Offices-Supply Chain management unit, Nyamira from 15tb January 2014 on payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000.00 (One thousand only) to KENYA COMMERCIAL BANK Nyamira Branch A/C No. 114 120 89 89 in favor of the “County Government of Nyamira” against an official receipt of the County.
All bidders must submit together with the tender an equivalent of 2% of their submitted bid as Bid bond from a commercial bank or insurance firms approved by PPOA.
Completed bid documents enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly indicating the Project name and number to be addressed to:

And deposited in the Tender box at NYAMIRA County Headquarters, so as to reach him on or before 30th January 2014 at 11.00 am. Opening of the Bids will take place immediately thereafter at the NYAMIRA COUNTY HEADQUARTERS in the presence of Bidders/Representatives who wish to attend. The pretender Site visit will be held on 20th January 2014. Construction companies owned by women, youth and people living with disabilities are encouraged to apply as 30% of the work is reserved for them.
