TENDER NOTICE

REHABILITATION OF STORM WATER DRAINAGE WORKS

ILRI (International livestock Research Institute) located on Old Naivasha Road is seeking to engage a qualified General Building Works Contractor to rehabilitate the Storm Water Drainage within the ILRI Campus.

The works comprise but not limited to:

a) Rehabilitation of storm water drainage system;

b) Construction of retaining walls and gabions;

c) Installation of a rain water harvesting system comprising of gutters down pipes and storage tanks to various buildings.

Interested contractors must meet the following requirements:

· Must have a valid registration with Ministry of Public Works as General Building Contractor category C or above.

· Must provide a tender security equivalent to 2% of their quoted bid price valid for 120 days after closing date for tender submission.

Interested bidders may buy the Tender document from the ILRI reception between 9.00 am – 12.00 pm, Monday-Friday (except on public holidays) upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 2,500/-. Closing date is on 30th September, 2013 at 10.00am.

A mandatorysite visit for all interested bidders is planned for 5th September, 2013 at exactly 10.00 am followed by a pre-tender meeting thereafter.
