TENDER NOTICE
PROPOSED PREFABRICATED COURT BUILDINGS
TENDER NO. JUD/14/2012-2013
 
The Judiciary invites tenders from interested and eligible suppliers and contractors of prefabricated buildings for construction of the proposed prefabricated court building in the following stations.

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information form and inspect the tender documents at the Judiciary Supply Chain Management Office, Supreme Court Building, 2nd floor Room 87, City Hal way during normal working hours, Monday to Friday inclusive of weekend and public holidays.
 
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates from the supply Chain management office, The Judiciary, Supreme Court Building, 2nd floor, Room 87, City Hall way, during normal working hours upon payment of a nonrefundable tender fee of kshs. 5, 000. 00
 
All payments shall be made to the Judiciary Nairobi Court Fees Account at KCB, Moi Avenue Branch, and Account No. 1116928477. Upon payment of the tender fee, tenders are required to obtain an official receipt form the cash office at Milimani Law Courts.
 
Only those firms that attach proof of meeting the following mandatory requirements shall be considered.

1) Copy of company registration/incorporation by the Registrar of companies
2) A tender security of Kenya shillings One million (1, 000 000) in form of a guarantee form a reputable bank or an insurance company approved by The Public Procurement Oversight Authority payable to the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary of Keya and valid for an additional 30 days beyond the tender validity period (150 days).
3) Proof of similar completed in the last five years giving details of clients who may be contacted for reference to confirm that the firm meets the prescribed experience requirements
4) Availability of qualified and experienced key personnel
5) Prof of sound financial standing (as demonstrated by audited accounts for the last two years and bank statements for bank credit lines)
6) Details if prefabrication facilities, equipment and type of ownership
7) Valid tax compliance certificate
 
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of al taxes, must be expressed in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the closing date of the tender.
 
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number and be deposited in the Tender box provided at the Main Gate to the Supreme Court Building, Gate No. 1 City HALL Way, NAIROBI or be addressed and posted to:

To be received on or before 31st October 2012 at 12. 00 am.
 
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers representatives who choose to attend at the conference room, 2nd floor, supreme Court Building, City Hall Way, NAIROBI.
