TENDER NOTICE

Kapsabet Nandi Water and Sanitation Company has received funds from the Water Services Trust Fund under the Urban Project Concept (UPC) and intends to use part of the funds to undertake the following project.  The Company hereby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works.

     Bidding document cost
Tender Number and Description; KAPNAWAS/UPC/5/1/2012    Construction of 4 No. water Kiosks, pipeline extension 2642m and supply of 100 No consumer meter    
Bidding document cost;Kshs. 3, 000

Tender Number and  Description;KAPNAWAS/UPC/5/2/2012    Construction of 1 No. Public sanitation facilities connected to sewer  in Kapsabet New Market    
Bidding document cost;Kshs. 5, 000

Tender Number and Description;KAPNAWAS/UPC/5/3/2012    Construction of 1 No. Public sanitation facilities connected to sewer in Kapsabet Recreation Park   
Bidding document cost;KShs. 5, 000
 

Mandatory Requirements
1.       Must be registered contractors (Class E and above) under the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and or Ministry of Public works.
2.       Bid security of 2% of the tender sum form a reputable financial institution or inform of a bankers cheque.
3.       Proof of work of similar magnitude undertaken in the last years
4.       Provide certified Audited accounts  for the last  three years
5.       Certified copies  of Tax  Compliance, VAT and PIN certificates
6.       Availability of appropriate and relevant skills among staff
7.       Proof of legal existence (copies of the certificates of Incorporation / Registration)
8.       Provide details of litigation history related to Government contracts.
 
Tender documents with detailed specification can be obtained upon payment of the above charges from the Kapsabet Nandi Water and Sanitation Company Procurement Office during normal working hours.
 
Completed tender documents in a plain sealed envelope bearing no indication of the tenderer but clearly marked with the “UPC Tender No should be addressed to:-

The sealed tender documents should be sent through the above address or lodged in the Tender Box marked “UPC/PROJECTS” at the companies offices located off Pamela Jelimo Street on or before 12th September 2012 at 12. 00 noon.  Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at eh Companies Conference Hall (Boardroom) in the   presence of the interested tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend.
