Tender Details
The major works to be carried out by the Contractor shall comprise of but not be limited to the following:
• Electrification of villages along the 400kV Kenya-Tanzania Interconnection Project. This part of the project consists of design, manufacture, test, supply, erection and commissioning of 33kV, 3 phase lines with different equipment such as re-closers, fuse cutout and distribution transformers etc.
• Lot K2 has approximately 132km of 33 kV lines and about 50km of 400V to be constructed.
• Also included are about, 32 transformers of 50kVA and 2 transformers of 100kVA to be installed and services lines and meters to about 7,000 customers.

Submission Process The Bidding Documents will be posted on the KETRACO website for ease of inspection in addition to the physical visits paid to the offices issuing the Bidding Documents. Bids must be delivered to the above office at or before 10:00 a.m. East Africa Local Time on 18th May 2017 and must be accompanied by a security amount
