INVITATION TO TENDER

Tharaka Nithi County Government invites tenders from registered contractors for:

Interested contractors may obtain a copy of the tender documents upon payment of a fee of Ksh.1000, either in hard or softcopy from the procurement department, Tharaka Nithi County, at the former Chuka municipal council offices during normal working days.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below, as a minimum, supported by relevant documentary proof at submission, will be considered for further evaluation.

1.      Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last five years.

2.      Sound financial standing and adequate access to bank credit line

3.      Tax compliance Certificate.

4.      Qualified personnel to undertake the works

5.      Adequate equipment to undertake the works

Tenders in plain sealed~envelopes, marked tender number on the right hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to:

and placed in the tender box at the former Chuka municipal Council offices or sent by post so as to reach the above address not later than Tuesday 28th January 2014 at 11.00 .

Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the conference room, soon after the above stated closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened.

Those who had purchased earlier tender documents will be given free copies upon production of miscellaneous receipt.
