PROCUREMENT OF WORKS FOR LODWAR WATER SUPPLY PROJECT – DRILLING & EQUIPPING OF BOREHOLES

TENDER NOTICE

Rift Valley water Services Board (RWVSB) has received a grant from the National Government to fund the development of the Lodwar Aquifer. The objective of the project is to improve water supply services in Lodwar Town and the surrounding areas. Part of the proceeds of the grant will be applied to meet eligible payments under the contract for Lodwar Water Supply Project.

RWVSB therefore is seeking a contractor to drill and equip four boreholes. The scope of works includes:

•   Drill boreholes of specified diameter to the specified depth and fully develop them as specified

•   Collect drilling samples, Pump test, and collect water samples for bacteriological and chemical analysis

•   Procure and install the appropriate submersible pump in consultation with RWVSB technical team.

•   Procure and install the appropriate prime mover-Genset/Solar or other systems

•   Provide piping up to the storage tank as specified

•   Produce a report and drawings of all works undertaken

Rift Valley Water Services Board therefore invites eligible contractors to tender for the above works. Interested Bidders may obtain further information, and purchase a complete set of the tender documents at the Procurement office, RVWSB, upon payment of non-refundable fee of KES 1000.00.

Completed tenders in plain sealed and clearly marked envelope as per the instructions in the tender document addressed to:

shall be deposited in the tender box located at the reception of RVWSB so as to be received on or before 12.00 noon on Monday, 25th November, 2013. The tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the RVWSB Board Room in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
