NATIONAL OPEN TENDER

The Nakuru County Government invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for supply of Road Construction Equipment (as referenced below). .

TENDER NAME: Wheel Loader 165-170HP

1. The interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the Tender document at the office of the Supplies Chain ManagerNakuru County Government, along Moi Road off Kenyatta Avenue during normal working hours.

2. A complete set of Tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of nonrefundable fees of Kshs 5,000/= (Kenya Shillings Five Thousand only) in cash or bankers cheque payable to Nakuru County Government.

3. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed enveloped marked with tender reference number and be deposited in the Tender Box at Nakuru County Government, along Moi Road off Kenyatta Avenue P.O.Box 2870 – 20100 so as to be received on or before 21st November 2013 as at 10.00 Oclock (East African Time)

4. Tenderers shall be required to furnish a Tender/Bid Security of 2% (Two Percent) of the Tender Sum payable in banker’s cheque or cash to Nakuru County Government or bid bond from a commercial Bank/Eligible Insurance Company in the format provided in the Tender Document to remain in force for a period of One Hundred and Fifty (150) days from the closing date offender.

5. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Kenya Shillings and should remain valid for one Hundred and Fifty (150) days from the closing date of the Tender.

6. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at Nakuru County Government HeadquartersMoi Road off Kenyatta Avenue.
