NZOIA WATER SERVICES COMPANY LIMITED (NZOWASCO)

TENDER NOTICE

Nzoia Water Services Company Limited (NZOWASCO), a utility organization providing water and sewerage services to the Nzoia cluster towns of Kitale, Bungoma, Webuye, Kimilili and Malaba-Kocholia has received funds from Water Services Trust Fund under the Urban Project Concept (UPC) 6th CALL and intends to utilize the funds to undertake the following projects;

(i) NZOWASCO/UPC6/1/2013-2014 – Construction of 1 No sanitation block and septic tank.

(ii) NZOWASCO/UPC6/2/2013-2014 – Construction of 10No closed water kiosks insitu, construction of 13,290m water pipeline and installation of 200No consumer water meters.

Tender documents detailing the requirements should be obtained from NZOWASCO’S Head Office, situated at Webuye behind Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (Webuye campus) on normal working days between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Prices should be inclusive of all taxes.

The tender document will be issued upon payment of nonrefundable fee of kshs 1000 for each tender. Payments should be made in cash or by banker’s cheque at the head office. Each completed tender must be returned in plain sealed double envelopes indicating the tender number on the outer envelope without identifying the sender. The bidders’ address should be indicated on the inner envelope in order to enable sending back the documents in case it is declared ‘late’. The tender documents should be addressed to:

Or be placed in the tender box at the Head Office so as to reach him not later than 6th December, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Head Office of NZOWASCO and tenderers or their representatives who wish to witness the opening are welcome to do so.
