TENDER NOTICE
TENDER NO. MC/HQS/34/2013-2014

Tenders are invited for the construction of toilet blocks and foul drainage system at Migori County Headquarters.

Contactors must be registered with National Construct Authority (NCA) in category “N3” and above.

Interested contactors who appear in the current building contactors registers (proof of registration mandatory) may obtain tender document from the County Supply Chain Management Officer MIGORI by paying in cash a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 5,000/=( Five Thousand).

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as minimum supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:

1. Proof of works of similar magnitude and Complexity undertaken in the last five years (attach completion certificate).

2. The bid bond must be in form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or insurance company of Kshs. 200,000/= (Two Hundred Thousand) only.

3. Adequate equipment and key personnel for the specified types of works
4 Sound financial standing and adequate access to bank credit line

5. Litigation history of the company (Both Court and arbitration cases)

6. Confidential Business Questionnaire

7. Tax Compliance Certificate

8. Include a list of all on-going projects and clients

9. Tenders pre-qualified in Migori County may have an added advantage

Further tenders from the following Tenderers shall be treated as non-responsive and therefore subject to automatic disqualification.

a. A tender from a tenderer whose on-going project(s) is/are behind schedule and without any approval extension of time.

b. A tender from a tenderer who has been served with a default notice on-going project(s) or terminated in a good contract.

Tenders in plain sealed envelopes, marked Tender No.MC/HQS/34/2013-2014 on the upper right hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should EITHER be addressed and posted to:-

OR be placed in the tender box at the County Headquarters MIGORI (K) so as to reach the above address NOT LATER THAN 28TH NOVEMBER. 2013 at 11:00 A.M.

All tenders must be accompanied with a bid security specified above from a reputable bank/insurance company. Bids Submitted later than the above stated time shall be returned unopened to the owners.

Price quoted must remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date of the tender.

The Government reserves the right to reject any tender without giving reasons for the rejection and not bind itself to
accept the lowest or any tender
