TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF 30MW TEMPORARY POWER PLANT CAPACITY USING OPEN TECHNOLOGY AT MUHORONI

The Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited, on behalf of the Government of Kenya, invites sealed applications from eligible candidates to tender for Supply of 30 MW Temporary Power Plant Capacity Using Open Technology at Muhoroni whose specifications are detailed in the Tender Document.

Where the tender document may be collected upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs.1, 000.00 paid in cash or through a bankers cheque at any KenGen office. The document can also be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kengen.co.ke and the payment evidence MUST be submitted with the tender document. Bidders who download the tender document from the website must forward their particulars immediately for records and any further tender clarifications and addenda to the email addresses above and will not be required to make any payments.

One Original and three (3) Copies of the tender documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as follows: “SUPPLY OF 30 MW TEMPORARY POWER PLANT CAPACITY USING OPEN TECHNOLOGY AT MUHORONI” and be delivered to,

On or before: 15th October, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.

There will be a Tenderer’s site visit on 7th October, 2013,11:00 a.m. at Muhoroni KPLC Substation where the Temporary Power Plant will be located.

The tenders will be opened on 15th October, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. thereafter at KenGen Executive Room, 7th Floor, and bidders or their Representatives are welcome to attend.
