INVITATION TO TENDER
Neighbours Initiative Alliance (NIA) is a Non-governmental organization working with communities in Kajiado County, Kenya. It was established and registered fin 1996 as a nonprofit making organization under the NGO coordination Act. NIA in partnership with USAID under the programme Enhancing Resilience through Economic sets Building intends to harvest rain water through construction of a rock catchment for rain water harvesting including a storage tank of capacity 225m3.
 
This invitation to tender notified the public that NIA is seeking an eligible contractor for the construction of the rainwater harvesting and storage structure as described above.
 
Information details may be obtained from our office during normal working hours for a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 2, 000. NIA office is situated in Kajiado town along Athi River – Namanga Highway next to KAJIADO Police station.
 
Completed tender documents should be submitted in form of quotation enclosed in A PLAIN SEALED Envelope together with the Company profile, copy of the VAT certificate, copy of the PIN certificate and Registration certificate with relevant ministries and should be clearly addressed to:

Alternatively, the tender documents can be deposited in the Tender Box situated at NIA office in Kajiado, not later than 13th November 2012 at 11. 00 am. Tender documents opening will be held at NIA Boardroom at NIA Boardroom on 16th November 2012 at 11. 00 am in the presence of bides or their representatives who choose to attend.
 
Successful bidders will be notified within two weeks. Those who do not receive communication within the two (2) weeks should consider themselves unsuccessful.
NIA retains the right to accept or reject all tenders wholly or in part, is not bound to give reasons thereof, and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bidder.
Interested parties are notified that this call does not constitute a contractual commitment whatsoever.
