Supply of 1,000 transformers, of 50 KVA and 25 KVA
Supply of 8,000 kilometres of 10 mm2 aluminium concentric single-phase service line cables with a 2 pair imbedded communication cable
Supply of 500,000 single/three-phase energy meters

In the spirit of ‘Buy Kenyan Build Kenya’, Kenya Power wishes to encourage local manufacturers and contractors to participate in the tenders that will be advertised in the coming months. ‘Buy Kenyan Build Kenya’ initiative means supplying locally made/assembled materials and not those manufactured from overseas.
Procurement will be in accordance with the procurement guidelines of the financing partners who include World Bank and the African Development Bank.
