INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Migori County Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (MIWASCO) formerly, MIKUTRA Water and Sanitation Company received funds from the Water Services Trust Fund under the urban project concept (UPC) and intend to use part of the funds to undertake the following projects. The company hereby invites bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works.

MKT/WSTF/O1/ 2015 :Construction of I No. 225m3 masonry Tank (circular), and 5 No. water kiosks, and extension line 6.308km of assorted sizes (UPVC & PPR) in Oruba area

Documents with detailed information can be obtained from the Mikutra Head Office (County Water Department) upon payment of a Non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 per set of document. Or to be downloaded from www.miwasco.co.ke and submitted with proof of payment of the above fees.

All payments shall be made to KCB Bank – Migori Branch A/C: 1106248791

Interested applicant must:

Must be a registered contractor with National Construction Authority (NCA 7 and above)

Bid security of 2% of the Tender sum in form of bankers cheque or insurance

 .     Provide certified audited accounts for the last 3 years

Provide certified copies ofTax compliance certificates.VAT & PIN Certificate.

Proof of legal existence (copies of certificate of incorporation/ registration)

Certificate of pre-tender site visit signed by authorized officer

Availability Of competent staff with relevant skills

The price quoted where applicable, MUST be inclusive of All Government taxes (VAT AND OTHERS) and shall remain valid for at least 90 days from closing date of the Tenders.

Complete tender document in plain sealed envelope bearing no identification of the tenderers

and clearly marked “tender No…………… MUST be deposited in the “Tender Box” situated at the company offices or sent to:
