Athi Water services recently commissioned a borehole and water treatment plant at Kibra Primary School, Nairobi county for the school’s 1800 pupils and the surrounding community. The equipment was supplied by Davis & Shirtliff (D&S). The plant has a capacity to pump 48,000 litres of water daily.
D&S supplied and installed the borehole pump as well as water treatment equipment. Present during the commissioning of the plant were Eng. Festus Ngeno (D&S Group Water Treatment Manager), Prof. Fred Segor (PS. Ministry of Water & Irrigation), Mr. Wachira W. Keen (Chairman, Athi Water Services Board) and Eng. Michael Thuita (Ag. CEO, Athi Water Services Board)
