STORM WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEMS IN NYAGATERE, NYANZA AND KAYONZA TOWNS

TENDER NOTICE NO. 001/W/13/LVWATSAN-II/EWSA/GOR/EAC

This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the program that appeared in UNDB online No. AfDB23-792/11 of 18th January 2011 and on the African Development Bank Groups interest Website.

The Government of the Republic of Rwanda, through the East Africa Community has received a grant from African Development Fund towards the cost of Lake Victoria Water Supply and Sanitation PROGRAME Phase II (LVWATSAN II). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for construction of storm water drainage systems in Nyagatare, Nyanza and Kayonza towns.

EWSA (the Implementing Agency) now invites sealed bids room eligible bidders for the construction and completion of public toilets, rehabilitation and construction of storm water drainage systems in Nyagatare, Nyanza and Kayonza towns

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at eh Procurement Office of LVWATSAN-II EWSA office located at Ramera on Kigali International Airport Road.

The tender document may be obtained on any working day at the above mentioned address upon presentation of proof of payment of a nonrefundable fee of fifty thousand Rwandan Francs (RFW 50, 000). This fee shall be paid at NBR on the Account no. 12.00.46 of Rwanda Revenue Authority.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions contractors are the provision of the African Development Bank Standard Building Documents Procurement of Works.

Compulsory sites visit are scheduled from 25th to 27th June 2013 and will be conducted by representatives at EWSA. The venue for departure is fixed at 8. 00 am local time at EWSA office located at Ramera on Kigali International Airport Road.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10. 30 am local time on 30th July 2013 and must be accompanied by a security of RWF 40, 000, 000 Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend on the same day ay 11. 00 am local time in the conference room of EWSA at the above mentioned office.
