IEK 20th International Engineers’ Conference; The Exhibitors Advantage

Exhibitors at the recently concluded 20th International Engineers’ conference held in Kisumu at Tom Mboya labor college had a field day exhibiting their products and services to the men and women who are probably decision makers in their respective firms with regard to procurement of Engineering  materials, equipment and services.

Solimpexs Africa Limited were the happiest of the exhibitors making a number of sales of their TSM Solar hot water systems at the event. Other exhibitors at the event were New edge technologies who exhibited their product, STULZ, an Air Conditioning system. CROWN Paints exhibited a range of products including their new Crown Matt Emulsion with Teflon. This emulsion paint offers high capacity and maximum protection on interior and exterior surfaces. It incorporates a special additive that provides the best stain resistance property in any range of matt emulsion products. Crown paints also exhibited a range of their other products including; Crown Medicryl Silk Sheen Emulsion, Solo Satin, Sandtex Trade Ready Mixed Filler, Sandtex Trade High Covers Smooth, Acrylic Eggshell, Suede Textured Matt emulsion, Solo Gloss(Solvent Borne), Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt, Metallic Emulsion and Solo Matt Emulsion.

Athi-River Steel plant also exhibited a range of their steel products and so did Shantui, Sameer Africa, Kenya power, Kenya Roads Board, Mumias sugar, General Motors, Housing Finance and Old Mutual.

The Publishers of the Kenya Engineer Journal, Intercontinental Publishers, exhibited and sold three products including the journal, the online portal and the 40 years of Engineering Progress Book.
