KIPSIGIS GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL

KIPSIGIS GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL INVITES TENDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SCIENCE COMPLEX.
Interested contractors must meet the following minimum qualification to be considered for further evaluation.

1. Must be registered with the Ministry of Public Works category G and above and must appear in the current ministry of Public o Works Building Contractors Register. Must provide certified copies of certificate of registration and annual renewal certificate.

2. Must provide certified copies of certificate of registration/incorporation

3. Proof of works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last five years. Documentary evidence form the client, letters of award / LPOs and completion certificates must be provided

4. Must provide evidence of financial and personnel capabilities necessary of carrying out the work.

5. Must provide a Bid Bond of Kshs. 19000 in form of bank guarantee or an insurance company approved by Public Procurement Oversight Authority (PPOA) of the relevant amount as detailed above and valid for 150 days from date of opening of tenders.

6. Must provide current Tax compliance certificate PIN and VATA Registration certificates

7. Provide all information requested in instruction to the tenders in the tender document
 
Interested contractors may obtain tender document from the school from 8am to 5 pm Monday – Friday commencing on 4/09/2012 to 18/09/202 on payment of non refundable fee of KSHS. 5000.
 
Tenders in plain sealed envelopes should be placed in the school tender box or sent by registered post to:

So as to reach the above address on or before 18th September 2012 at 10 am.
 
The tenders will be opened at 12 noon the same in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
 
NB: Tenderers who had applied earlier are ineligible
