TENDER NOTICE
Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) is a state corporation established under Cap255 of the laws of Kenya.  The corporation invites sealed tenders from eligible competent service providers for the service indicated below:
 
Tender No:        KNLS/HQ/T008/2012/2013
Tender description:    Proposed Construction of Library and toilets in  Meru Central District – Meru County

Tender document may be obtained from our Supply Chain Department at the KNLS Headquarters Buruburu, upon payment of the non refundable fee of Kshs. 2, 000. 00 in cash of banker’s cheque drawn in favour of Kenya National Library Service.

The Tender document shall be issued during week days between 9. 00 am and 3.30pm
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes bearing no indication of the tender but properly identified with the Tender No and Tender name as indicated above should be hand delivered and placed/deposited  in the KNLS Tender Box located at  the Supply Chain Department  at our Headquarters.  The envelope containing the tender documents should be addressed to:-

Submission of the Tenders will be closed on 28th September 2012 at 10. 00 am.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at Multi – Media Room, 2nd floor knls, Buruburu in the presence  of bidders and / or their representatives who may wish to attend.
 
Kindly note that our headquarters has relocated to knls Burburu Complex at eh Junction  of Mumias Road and Ol-Donyo Sabuk road with effect from Wednesday 13th June 2012.
 
KNLS reserves the right to accept or reject any tenders either in whole or part and is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
