TENDER NO. LVSBSB/T/6/2013-4:  SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF2 NO. LEAK DETECTION EQUIPMENT

1.This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice for this   project fin UN Development Business No. 764  or 16th  December 2009.

2.The Lake Victoria South Water Services Board (BSWSB) through the Government of Kenya has received a loan form the ARICVASN Development Fund fin various currencies towards the small towns, Rural water supply and sanitation project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for supply and delivery of 2 No. leak Detection Equipment.

3.Bidding is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the AfDBs Rules and Procedures for procurement of Goods and Works.

4.The Lake Victoria South Water Services Board now invites sealed bids form prospective bidders for supply and delivery of 2 No. Leak Detection Equipment.

5.Complete set of bidding documents in soft copy (CD) may be purchased form LVSWSB Procurement office, Lavictors House off Ring Road Milimani P. O. Box 3325 – 40100 Kisumu , Tel No. +254 57 2025128, Fax No. +254 57 2025127, Email;  info@lvswaterboard.go.keupon payment of a non refundable fee of Kenya shillings 2, 000. 00) Two thousand only) in the form of a bankers cheque.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the same address.

6.Prospective  bidders may also download   the tender  documents from LVSWSB website (www.lvwatrerboard.go.keupon payment of  a non refundable fee of  Kshs. 1, 000. 00 (One thousand only) upon downloading and payment of the fee, bidders are required to immediately send / e-mail their names and contact  details to the  Procurement Manager- procurement@lvswaterboard.go.ke  and copy to procurement@lvswaterboard.go.ke

7. The bidders downloading the document, payment shall be made the following LVSWB designated account.

8.The instruction to bidders and General  conditions of contract contained in the bidding documents  for procurement of  Goods.

9.Bids shall be valid for  a period of 120  days  after bid opening and must be  accompanied by a bid security of Kenya shillings  Two hundred thousand only (200, 000. 00) in an acceptable  form its equivalent in a freely convertible currency and be delivered  to the  tender box situated  on first floor of the address indicated  in 5 above before 10. 00 am local time in 12th August 2013.  The tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in  the presence of bidders representatives who choose  to attend at LVSWSB offices, Lavictors House, Conference Room 1st floor.
