It’s great news to the people of Kajiado following the Ministry of Water together with TANATHI Water Services Board’s embarkment on a construction project of the Kajiado water supply.
The two have called on interested bidders to send in their bids for a chance to take-on the water project in a period of nine months.
Works will involve laying of a 10km gravity distribution main and also DN 110mm rising main; equipping of 1No. borehole; fabrication and erection of a 250m3 elevated steel tank; construction of river crossing, thrust blocks and valve chambers; rehabilitation of existing 110m3 and 50m3 elevated steel tanks.
The project will be funded by the government of Kenya in conjunction with the Italian government through Kenya Italy debt for development program.
