SPOT IMPROVEMENT OF KABAA AND LARI WEN DANI IRRIGATION SCHEMES ACCESS ROADs

This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the Development Business Issues No 728 of 15th June 2008.
The Government of Kenya has received a loan from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Small-scale Horticulture Development Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contracts for Spot improvement of Kabaa and Lari Wendani Irrigation Schemes Access Roads. The Works consist of excavation, filling, drainage, grading and gravelling.

The State Department of Agriculture, through the Small-scale Horticulture Development Project (SHDP), invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the works as below:-

Tender Number: MOALF/SHDP.T/004/2013-2014
Tender Description: Spot improvement of Lari Wendani Irrigation Schemes Access Roads, Subukia Sub County, Nakuru County
Bid Guarantee (KES): 350.000.00

Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be collected at Hill Plaza, 9th Floor Room 914 upon payment of a non refundable fee of KES 5,000 per tender document in cash or Bankers Cheque payable to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries at

the Cash Office situated at lower Floor, Kilimo House Cathedral Road. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid Security of the amount indicated above from a reputable Bank which must be valid for 28 days beyond bid validity period.

Bids should be clearly marked ‘Spot Improvement of……………   Irrigation Scheme Access Road’

and deposited at State Department of Agriculture Tender Box, situated at the Ground Floor, Kilimo House, Cathedral Road or posted to
