TENDER NOTICE

TENDER NO. MOE/ONT/2/2013-2014 FOR SUPPLY, CONSTRUCTION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF BIOGAS DIGESTER AT KAIMOSI TEACHERS COLLEGE IN VIHIGA COUNTY

(In support of Vision 2030 Flagship Projects)

The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum invites sealed tenders for the Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of Biogas-Digester at Kaimosi Teachers College in Vihiga County using sewage. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents at the Supply Chain Management Office, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, 24th Floor, Room 24-16, Nyayo House on Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi, during normal working hours.

A complete set of tender documents with detailed specifications may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs. 5,000/= in Cash or Bankers Cheque payable to Principal Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for at least (90) days from the closing date of the tender.

Tenderers must submit a Bid Security of 2% of the Tender sum, valid for 120 days from the date of tender opening in form of a Bank Guarantee or an Insurance Bond from Insurance Company licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and approved by Public Procurement Oversight Authority (PPOA).

Completed tender documents should be submitted in plain sealed envelopes marked Tender No. MOE/ ONT/2/2013-2014 for Supply, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of a Biogas-Digester at Kaimosi Teachers College in Vihiga County and addressed to:

and be deposited in the Tender Box situated on 24th Floor, Nyayo House so as to reach on or before 7th October, 2013 at 10.00 a.m. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the Main Conference Room on 23rd Floor, Northern Wing, Nyayo House in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

Late tenders will not be accepted. Any canvassing will lead to disqualification of tenderer (s).
