The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure invites from interested and eligible bidders for the Supply of Various Equipment for the period ending 30th June, 2014.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Tender documents at Procurement Office, Room 114, First Floor, Mechanical and Transport Division, Headquarters Machakos Road, Industrial Area during normal working hours.

A complete tender document may be obtained by interested bidders upon payment of a non- refundable fee of KSHS. 1,000/- (ONE THOUSAND SHILLINGS). A copy of the receipt should be attached to the tender document.

Interested bidders will be required to pay a tender security of an amount as specified in the Tender Document for each Tender in form of a bank guarantee or a bank draft issued by a reputable bank located in Kenya, payable to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for period of (120) days from the closing date of the tender.

Completed tender documents in duplicate clearly marked “Original” or “Copy” are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender number and be deposited in the tender box provided at Is* floor. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Conference Room on the 1st Floor.
