Rumors have it that Samsung is set to launch their newest flagship smartphone. The smartphone will be launched in February at an event before the Mobile World Congress starts officially in Barcelona on 24th.
The Galaxy S5, considered a comeback for Samsung after a drop in profits last year, will come with a 2K QHD (1440 x 2560p) display powered by a 2,900mAh battery. This would build on the 2,600mAh battery and full 1080p HD display of the Samsung Galaxy S4. These kind of batteries use a silicon anode instead of a graphite one which many others use. This allows for that slight jump up in battery life.
Leaks suggest the S5 will have a 20-megapixel rear camera that could match the Sony Xperia Z1.The camera is said it will also feature 4K video recording and be able to snap pictures simultaneously as you record.
Other Samsung Galaxy S5 rumours include a 5.25-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Air View and Air Gesture features previously seen on the Galaxy S4 are also said to come in more improved in the Galaxy S5.
