INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY OF HEAVY FUEL OIL TO KIPEVU II POWER STATION IN MOMBASA
The Tsavo Power Company invites tenders form interested and experienced Fuel Suppliers )”The Tenderer”_ for the supply and delivery of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) (“The fuel”) to its power generating speed diesel generators Mombasa. The fuel is required to fire 7 medium speed diesel generators with a combined output of 74.5MW of power generation. The quantity of Fuel required is approximately 120, 000 metric tones (MT) per year during normal dispatch.
Tender documents will be available for purchase by interested Tenderers for 21st November 2012 form the office of the Chief Executive Officer located on the 13th floor of National Centre, Kimathi Street, on payment of a non refundable fee of US $500 or equivalent in Kenya shillings in bankers cheque.
Tenders must be completed in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderer contained in the Tender document and submitted at the address given below not later than 1500 hrs (NAIROBI Time) on 13th December 2012.
