ITEM DESCRIPTION: Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of SCADA System for Distribution Substations and Associated Telecommunications System.

ORIGINAL PRE-BID MEETING DATE: 24.11.2014

NEW PRE-BID MEETING DATE: 02.12.2014

ORIGINAL CLOSING DATE: 19.12.2014

NEW CLOSING DATE: 06.01.2015

Kenya Power wishes to inform firms participating in the tender below, that clarifications have been deemed necessary, calling for an addendum to the tender. The pre-bid meeting and closing dates have therefore been extended as shown below:

Bidders are advised to collect an addendum from the office of the General Manager, Infrastructure Development on 2nd Floor, Stima Investment Plaza, Mushembi Road, Nairobi on normal working days from Friday 21st November, 2014 between 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Tender Security Bond should therefore be valid for 208 days from the new date shown above.

Prospective bidders may also download the addendum from Kenya Power’s website (www.kplc.co.ke).

The tenders will be opened at the time indicated in the tender document on the new closing date shown above. Tenderers or their representatives who wish to witness the opening are welcome to do so in the Stima Plaza Auditorium.

All other terms and conditions of the tender remain the same.
