KAM wishes to announce that Betty Maina who has served the Association through sterling performance will be handing over the Chief Executive mantle on June 30, 2015, to pursue other interests and engagements in similar fields in Kenya and outside Kenya; and Phyllis Wakiaga will take over as the CEO designate from April 1, 2015. After Betty’s departure Phyllis will be the substantive CEO from July 1, 2015.

 

The move is part of the transition process, which the organisation has been undergoing, for the last one year. Betty has mentored the CEO designate for the past year and the KAM Board is confident that Phyllis will deliver exceptionally to the KAM membership and stakeholders.

Phyllis will be well supported by a leadership team comprising of Joyce Njogu who will lead the KAM Consulting Unit, an income generating unit for the Association in charge of Business Information Services, Manufacturing Academy and Energy Services. She joins KAM from Association of Chartered Accountants where she served as a Business Development Manager. Dalmas Okendo who joins KAM as the Operations Manager from Transparency International where he was the Head of Programmes. Other members of the Leadership team at KAM include; Tobias Alando- Head of Membership Development; Zipporah Maina- Head of Finance and Paida Nyamakanga-Head of Corporate Communication.
