TENDER NOTICE: RE-ADVERTISEMENT
Tenders are invited from technically competent and competitive firms for the performance of the following services to Chemelil Sugar Company Limited.

Item Description ;Refurbishment and commissioning of existing Mills hand stocks, foundations, rollers, Mills Geared reducers & steam turbine drives of a 3000 TCD – 4MILL TANDEM
 
Tender documents with detailed specifications to be obtained from the office of the Procurement Manager upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 3, 000. 00 (Three thousand only) for each set of tender in form of cash, bankers cheque, or money order payable to Chemelil Sugar Company. It may also be downloaded from our website www.chemsugar.co.ke.
 
Site visits shall be on Thursday of the tender period (4th, 11th & 17th October 2012), working hours between 7:00 am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00p m.
 
Tender documents must be accompanied by a security bid bond equivalent to 2% of the Tender price.
Duly completed tender documents in plain sealed envelope marked as follows:
“Tender No……………………………………………………….”
“DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 23RD October 2012 at 2. 000 pm”

Tenders will be opened on the same day in eh Company Boardroom and tenders or their representatives are free to attend.
 
Chemelil Sugar Company does not bind itself to accept the lowest bidder nor give reasons for its decision.
Late bids shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
