TENDER NOTICE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TANNERY AND LEATHER PLANT PHASE (I)
ENSDA invites bids from eligible contractors registered with the National construction Authority for the construction of a leather factory In Ewaso Ngiro town-Northern Mara. The minimum eligibility requirement will comprise the following:
Tender security of 2% of the tender sum, in form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or a bid bond from an insurance company registered with IRA and approved by PPOA (enterprises owned by the disadvantaged groups are excluded)
Proof of work of similar magnitude undertaken in the last 2 years.
Certified copies of tax compliance certificate, VAT & PIN certificates
Availability of appropriate and relevant skills among staff.
Proof of legal existence.
Youth, women and persons with disabilities registered firms are especially encouraged to participate.
Pre-tender site visit will be on 22nd September 2014.
Interested eligible bidders should obtain and/or inspect the tender documents from the procurement office, Ewaso Ngiro South Development Authority headquarters Narok.
Bidders should make payment of a non-refundable fee of Ksh.1,000 payable to ENSDA account No. 01003041548100 (National Bank) and submit the bank deposit slips to the cash office, ENSDA Head Quarters.
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender name and tender number should be deposited in the Tender Box situated at Ewaso Ngiro South Development Authority, headquarters located in Narok and be addressed to;.
