INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 2,000 KMS OF ROADS SUPPORTING PRIMARY

GROWTH SECTORS THROUGH CONTRACTOR FACILITATED ANNUITY FINANCING MECHANISM

Tender Number: MoTI/l/01//2014-15 TENDER ADDENDUM No. 5

Further to the Tender Addendum No. 4 previously published in various local daily newspapers, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure wishes to notify all prospective Applicants that the Applicable Law for the above mentioned program shall be the Public Private Partnerships Act. 2015 (PPP Act), and NOT the Public Procurement and Disposal Act. 2005 (PPPA) as earlier communicated. Applicants are also informed that financial and repayment arrangements under the program shall be specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Document to be issued to Prequalified Applicants at the RFP stage.

Applicants are further notified that the date for submission of Applications remain as 29th August. 2014. Any previous indication to the contrary is therefore not applicable. Other requirements for submission of applications shall remain the same.

Applicants shall be required to acknowledge this Addendum No. 5 in writing; such acknowledgement shall be submitted together with Applications for prequalification.
