INVITATION  FOR PREQUALIFICATION (IFQ)
 
 
 The Rural Electrification Authority hereinafter referred to as “The Procuring Entity” intends to prequalify candidates for the Construction of 66, 33, 11, 0.415., 0.240 (Kv) lines in Kenya.

Eligible candidates may inspect and/or purchase the prequalification documents for Rural Electrification Authority offices on 6th floor the Chancery during normal working hours upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kes 2, 000 in cash.  (Those who had earlier purchased will be given the document free of charge upon proof of payment).  The method of payment will be cash paid through the REA Bank Account:  Kenya Commercial  Bank, Milimani Branch, Account No 110320 1557.
 
 
Pre-qualification documents are also available to review at www.rea.co.ke/downloads/september2012.
 
 
Applications for prequalification must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with eh pre-qualification Name and Reference Number and deposited  in the Tender box at REA Mombasa Road Offices, next to Nice and Lovely just adjacent to the JKIA Mombasa Road interchange and addressed to:-

So as to be received on or before 8th October 2012 at 10. 00 am.
 
 
All candidates whose application will have been received will be advised in due course of the results of their application.
 
 
Rural Electrification Authority reserves the right to accept or reject all tenders either in whole or in part and is not bound to give reasons thereof.
