INVITATION TO TENDER

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Provision of Landscaping Services at Kenya Power Ruaraka Depot

Tender documents detailing the requirements of the above tender may be obtained from the office of the General Manager, Supply Chain, Kenya Power on the 3,d Floor, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi on normal working days from Tuesday 23rd September, 2014 between 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand Shillings Only (KShs.l,000) or the equivalent amount in United States Dollars (USD) using the selling exchange rate ruling at the date of the tender document purchase provided by the Central Bank of Kenya (See Central Bank of Kenya website-www.centralbank.go.ke). Payment shall be made in Cash or by Banker’s Cheque on the V Floor, Costing Office, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi, Kenya.

Prospective bidders may also download the tender document from Kenya Power’s website (www.kplc.co.ke) Free of Charge.

CLARIFICATION OF TENDER

B) Kenya Power wishes to inform firms participating in the tender below that clarifications have been deemed necessary calling for addendum to the tender:

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS:Provision of Distribution Transformer Repair Services

CLOSING DATE: 09.10.2014

Participating bidders are advised to collect the addendum for the tender with clarifications from the office of the General Manager, Supply Chain on the 3rd Floor, Stima Plaza, Kolobot Road, Nairobi on normal working days from Tuesday 23rd September, 2014 between 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. (excluding any public or gazetted holiday) or may also download the addendum from Kenya Power’s website (www.kplc.co.ke).

All other terms of the tender remain the same.

Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked should be addressed and delivered to:

Tenders will be opened promptly after closing and Bidders or their representatives are welcome to witness the opening in the Stima Plaza Auditorium.

CANCELLATION OF TENDER

C) Kenya Power wishes to inform bidders who participated in the tender below that the tender has been cancelled.

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS Supply of Treated Power Distribution Wooden Poles

Save when responding to Kenya Power’s request for a clarification, bidders shall not contact or discuss any aspect of their tenders with Kenya Power after tender closing date before receipt of notification of award of tenders or letters of regret, as applicable. Any such contact shall lead to disqualification of the tenderer.
