TENDER NOTICE
TENDER NO. MU/PEN/002/2012
TENDER FOR HYDROLOGICAL SURVEY, DRILLING, EQUIPPING AND COMMISSIONING OF A BOREHOLE AT THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED SCHEME HEADQUARTERS ON PLOT EMU/BLOCK 7/122 UGANDA ROAD, ELDORET TOWN
1. Moi University Pension Scheme Board of Trustees is charges with the responsibility of managing and investing members’ funds.
 
2. The Board of Trustees has recently appointed a team of Consultants to undertake the designs of the above developments for purposes of construction.
 
3. The board proposes to drill, equipment and commission a borehole at the said site to supplement the Municipal Mains Supply and Rain Water harvesting in conformity with the requirements as set out in the new building codes and water conservation and management practices.
 
4. In this regard, Bore Hole Drilling Contractors who are registered with the Ministry of Water and irrigation in Category “IE” only under the Water Act associating with III Category Hydro-geologists are invited to tender.
 
5. Interested Contractors with associate Hydro-geologists who must be registered in the relevant category as stated above, may obtain the Tender Documents from the Manager, Moi University Pension Scheme,, Tabain Plaza, Ronald Ngala Street,, 3rd floor Eldoret Town in person or against a written request, upon payment of a non – refundable fee of KSHS. 5, 000 either in cash or bankers cheque, Payable to the Moi University Pension Scheme during normal working days.
 
6. Tender MUST be submitted in pain sealed envelopes and clearly marked “Tender for hydro-geological survey, drilling, equipping and commissioning of a bore hole at the site of the proposed scheme headquarters on plot EMU/BLOCK 7/122 MUMIA STREET, ELDORET TOWN”

So as to reach him not later than 16th November 2012 at 2. 00 noon on the closing date.
 
Tenders will be opened on 16th November 2012 at 12. 30 pm in the presence of candidates representatives who choose to attend at Tabain Plaza, Third Floor.
 
The Scheme reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders din whole or in part without the obligation to assign any reason for that decisions.
 
Late bids shall be returned unopened.
 
Canvassing, either directly will result in automatic disqualification.
